The just-revealed cover for THE JUDAS COIN, a graphic novel by Walter Simonson that I’ve been assisting on for the last couple of years. Sometimes I just page through the process binder on this and sigh wistfully because it is so damn good-looking. On sale September 18th, mark your calendar / pull list / Amazon cart / etc.

Yes, I’m buying this Star Wars whatever game simply because Chris Pratt is selling it to me in his underpants.

YESSSSS! WELCOME BACK BIATCH!

It’s been a long time since we’ve heard new music from Fiona Apple. Luckily, the wait is almost over. In a recent tweet, Epic Records chairman and CEO L.A. Reid announced that the followup to her 2005 album Extraordinary Machine will be released sometime in early 2012.
It seems that Epic is at least partly responsible for the large hiatus. At a concert in Los Angeles in November, Apple admitted to her fans that she couldn’t remember how to play her new songs because they had been done for a year.

Sleigh Bells - “Comeback Kid”

Oh shit, this video is absolutely great. Nailing it on 90s nostalgia. If I had seen this at thirteen years old, I would suddenly know what I wanted to do with my life.

Also, I think I would have a threeway with this band. THERE I SAID IT.
